One of our wonderful repeat client couples asked if we would consider building a pecan live edge wine tasting table and two benches with two inch foam and authentic red leather to match colors within their wine storage room. With this idea, we also had the idea of making the legs for the table and benches to be made in the shape of a wine glass, made of steel and then made with a bronze plating. On the end of the table legs are two prongs that hold the neck of a wine bottle in place as the bottle sits comfortably on the base of this metal curve.
The dimensions of the table are 27" wide x five feet long x 30 inches high. The slab is two inches thick and being made of a live edge pecan, it also has a natural crack on the surface that contributes to the character of the table and design.
