Live Edge Slab Fireplace Mantle
This client wanted a live edge slab mantle. Based on the price range we chose Poplar with a brown Mahogany stain and satin clear coats. Installation was a bit trick and time consuming. I had to carefully remove an entire row of stone tiles, anchor threaded into the wall, drill matching holes in the back of the mantle, slide it on perfectly evenly and NOT destroy the delicate live edge.
It turned out perfectly.
The price range below is based on dimensions of roughly 60"x8"x1-3/4". The lower price is Poplar and the higher price is Walnut. The difference in price is 100% due to the difference in the price and availability of the materials. The labor is identical.
