My client came to me wanting a dining table that was bar top height. They also fell in love with this beautiful Quartersawn Sycamore live edge slab, and wanted a base that would match the curve of the top. I made this trestle base with a curved trestle out of maple. The trestle is held together by a simple wedged mortise and tenon joint.
