This live edge walnut coffee table features a gorgeous slab of black walnut. The live edge slab used on this piece is extremely wide and has thick cream colored bands of sapwood along the edges that pop next to the chocolate brown heartwood. The piece has been flattened, sanded smooth and finished in numerous coats of a proprietary satin sheen poly. The finish will protect against moisture, heat and daily usage. The table has natural characteristic such as bug holes, minor drying checks/cracks (but most have been filled in) and beautiful wood grains and figuring. The table top rests on four raw steel hairpin legs. The legs have been clear coated for protection. The final piece measures roughly 25" x 25" x 16"H. The table top is a solid 2" thick. This piece would be great as a coffee table, side table, end table, etc. If wanting a different finished height, just ask! A killer mix of mid century, rustic, modern and industrial design.
