Loft Ladder; Library Ladder
~ Our STANDARD 8' ladder has these common features:
(The difference between STANDARD & CUSTOM is only the height & options.)
~ The wood will be strong Clear or Knotty white pine or ask for a quote for any other species...oak, walnut, cherry, IPE or even "Trex" types;...whatever you choose.
~ The STANDARD top step is about 7 ft up, making the ladder useful for a 7 to 9 foot (floor to floor) loft.
~ The steps are 7 1/4" deep and 19 1/2" wide;
~ There are HANDHOLDS along the sides and at the top curve to make it easy to climb and get onto the loft area ...(or perhaps to access a shelf);
~ The side rails are MORTISED to accept & secure the steps;
~ If assembled before shipping, the steps are then DOWELED; no extra charge;
~ Threaded STEEL RODS pull the sides together & assure additional safety & rigidity;
~ Made with strong Clear or Knotty white pine; or optionally choose the material.
~ Unfinished (ready for stain, varnish or paint);
~ STANDARD & Most custom Ladders are knocked down to save shipping as an 8 foot package... you can easily re-assemble with provided screws & glue and a soft mallet.

....Specific HEIGHTS and angles; any height you need; Just tell me the floor to floor height & the distance, at the bottom, from the vertical. I can then determine the angle to mortise the steps to make the steps, level & Horizontal; .......... (that also will give us the actual length of the stair); STANDARD is 11degrees.

~ Because of this ladder's size, I'd prefer you pick it up...or I will load it onto YOUR shippers vehicle...

~ If you prefer, I will pack for $90, deliver to a UPS/mailbox store, or a freight company and you can pay directly for the shipping; $100 is rough and distance/weight related.
~ All ladders can be shipped KNOCKED DOWN & are easy to assemble with a screwdriver & a soft hammer or mallet.
