this is a loft style bed made out of solid wood, the bed it self is mortised and tenon into the 4x4's for a solid support system. the mattress ( not included) rest on 3/4 plywood. The options are unlimited with the design of your choice. especially for the work station beneath, being on the left or the right and for the options of shelves or drawers.
All I had to go on with this build was a magazine picture of a bed my sister wanted to have made of real wood for her loving daughter. The one at the store she saw first hand was made of composite materials " Not Wood"
