APOLOGIES.....WE DO NOT EVER GET TO SEE OR PHOTOGRAPH OUR WORK IN PLACE. We live on top of a mountain in the Ozarks. Our furniture goes all over the world, and we always crate and ship it.. WE HAD TO PHOTO THIS MASSIVE BED IN THE BIGGEST ROOM WE HAD, A LUMBER STORAGE ROOM. Even then we had to put it against one wall and stand in a window sill 20 feet away. THIS BED IS MASSIVE. The headboard is almost 7 feet tall. We know that the photos do not do this piece justice.

This was a commission by a semi-retired interior designer for clients who had patronized her for decades. The bed was to occupy a bedroom that had two massive stained glass sliding doors at one end of the room. When the doors were opened, the bed would be visible from several other rooms of the house. THEY WANTED DRAMATIC.....AND THEY WANTED LARGE.....BUT THEY DID NOT WANT PONDEROUS........ AND, HE WAS 6'7" TALL .......SHE WAS 5'3" TALL AND HAD A DISABILITY THAT PREVENTED THE MATTRESS FROM BEING HIGHER THAN 25" FROM THE FLOOR !!!!!
After it was installed, we got a three word email from the designer ....... "INCREDIBLE, Thank you".

Dimensions: HEADBOARD IS ALMOST 7 FEET TALL.
FOOTBOARD POSTS ARE 5 FEET TALL
