Lotus Bowl
These beautiful bowls - perfect as a centerpiece in their own right but perfect as well as a fruit or serving bowl - have been inspired by my friend Deb Hall's Maltese grandmother's hand-made lace.
Deb's grandmother's crocheted lace is so beautiful, she actually won first place at the World's Fair in the 1930s for her lace bedspread. Deb generously gifted me with some of the lace she had inherited, including this six-pointed star with a traditional "pineapple" motif.
The Lotus Bowl is about 15" in diameter and 4" high (each piece is handmade, like the lace that inspired it, so measurements vary slightly).
All glazes are food safe; the bowl is available in over a dozen colors; contact me for additional images.
