I am so happy I was able to find Paula and Larry at Earth Eagle Forge! The work on my custom firescreen is EXQUISITE. I don't think I could have found a more skilled artisan for this project. Paula is such a professional - very thorough, timely, courteous and honest. I asked for a very large, detailed piece to be mounted on an uneven rock surface and she was able to pull it off and contain the cost as much as possible without sacrificing the artistic integrity of the piece. I was kept up to date and involved in the entire process. Because of bad weather we were forced to wait a few days before we could uncrate the firescreen (torture!) and we'll need to wait a few more days before installing as its going on our covered fireplace outside, BUT, I can not wait to post pictures of this amazing piece. I would not hesitate to work with Earth Eagle Forge again for any future projects - thanks Paula!!!
This is 'Lucky' wearing his charm. Some think that a rabbits foot brings good luck. I couldn't help but wonder; "how lucky is it for the rabbit?".
So, Lucky here gets to wear his luck around his neck.
Lucky is cast bronze. The foot is bronze and hangs from a stainless steel ball necklace. Lucky stands 25" High X 8 1/2"wide X 14" deep.
I'm interested in perspectives. How people view the world. How we as a species come to certain beliefs or conclusions. I like to use wildlife as models to express my thoughts and ideas in a realistic, yet humorous way.
I hope you enjoy Lucky in the spirit he was created.
