Balancing "Magic" Wine Bottle Holder
A simple but elegant bottle holder for most wine or liquor bottles. Shown made from pine and finished with a clear finish. Based on simple center-of-gravity physics, the bottle appears to be floating with no support, it works because the center-of-gravity is directly over where the base sits on the table. Great for displaying wine for a special occasion or a simple gift for housewarming or dinner parties.
This can be made out of almost any wood you want and finished how you would like. And if you want to kick it up a notch, it can be made from two or more woods with layered stripes, patterns or even inlays.
