Mahogany And Birdseye Maple Keepsake / Jewelry Box
This box was handmade from Mahogany, and features a stunning top made from Figured Birdseye Maple. Rosewood was used for the lid lift and maple was used for the miter keys.
It has a variety of uses, and can be used as a jewelry box, men's valet, or for storing other keepsakes. The solid brass hinges maintain position so you can open the box without the lid closing down. The bottom of the inside of the box is lined with black velvet to provide a soft surface for whatever you store in the box.
The box was finished with shellac and a wiping varnish to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
