Box was constructed from 3/8" thick African Mahogany and the top and bottom sections have a fitted lip. The Glass in the Top section is UV as box was made to display a First Edition Book. The Display Easel is made from the same material, Has Brown Felt glued to the areas where the Box will be supported. and can be fully disassembled. There is a 1/4" Bead running around the entire box at the Top Edge and Corner Splines to assist with keeping the Box square as well as for decoration.. Finish is four coats of hand rubbed "TUNG OIL". Interior bottom has a Brown Felt Liner. There is a Lifting Ribbon to assist with getting the Book out of the Box.

There are rubber pads on each bottom corner to keep the box from scratching the surface it is placed on as well as to keep the box from sliding around.
