Book-Match Flame Birch & Natural Steel
From the outside, Flamed Birch trees look just like any other Birch tree. They're the same size and they have that same signature white and silver, papery bark. But inside the tree, the fibers of flamed trees grow in waves instead of straight lines. So when you saw flat boards out of these wavy trees, you're left with a board that has a three-dimensional wave appearance on its surface.
This top is made from solid flamed yellow birch, four book-matched boards, 7/8" thick, with a 2" seamless drop edge all the way around.
Since the boards are book-matched, the table is perfectly symmetrical.
The legs are made of 2.5" square steel tube and coated with a clear top coat for protection.
