Maloof Style Country Rocking Chair

This is probably the most comfortable rocker I have ever had the privilege to sit on. It is made out of Claro Walnut with Maple and Ebony accents. The spindles are positioned to give the most comfortable support to the lower back. It is finished in a natural hand rubbed oil and then waxed. This rocking chair is styled after the famous Maloof rocker and will if you take care of it last for generations. As stated before, the chair is made out of Claro Black Walnut which is only found in Southern Oregon and Northern California. This domestic hardwood is becoming increasingly scarce and along with that quite costly.
The chair shown is Claro Walnut and Western Big Leaf Maple. I will build your rocker out of your wood of choice and the price will vary accordingly. Please contact me for specific changes and an exact quote if your wood of choice is not listed.

If you are unsure of the woods listed, please check out my website under the wood selections tab for a photo and a description.
