Mantle - N.Y.C. In White Oak And Walnut
This mantle was custom-designed and made from white oak and walnut to match the species used in the flooring at this Madison Avenue duplex in Manhattan. The panels seen on the sides were of a unique piece of white oak that looked like it was covered in little fish eyes. The client asked for a style that would seem original to the building arount 1925.
