This is one AWESOME coffee table! The top is a maple burl slab with live edges. The natural wood slab is packed with character: chatoyance, ambrosia, curl, peck,ingrown bark,etc. The colors range from light brown to dark brown with streaks of mellow golden tones. It is organically amazing! This gnarly slab of wood has been tamed and is flat, smooth to the touch and finished in a satin wood varnish to protect against spills and daily usage. It is paired with four raw steel rebar hairpin legs that have been clear coated to prevent rust. This is a large coffee table for a single slab build and the finished dimensions are: 36 1/2" L x 27" to 31" W x 16 1/2" H. The slab itself is around 2 1/4" thick.
