The cutting board is made from individually cut pieces and glued together with the end grain for the top cutting service. This tends to make a much longer lasting cutting board that is easier on your knives. This board measures 9" X 9" X 1" thick. It sits on 1/2" rubber feet that are attached with stainless steel screws. I sand my cutting boards to 220 grit (very smooth) and finish with a oil and wax butcher block finish.
