Each piece in this set of four round plates and a large oval serving platter is made from hand formed porcelain clay. The images on the set are individually hand carved using a reductive technique called sgraffito, which produces a lovely image similar to a wood block print. The pieces are further embellished with delicate vintage style decals, thoughtfully applied both the front and back of each piece.

This gorgeous set would make such a statement displayed in the home. However, all of my work is fully functional and these pieces would make an incredible presentation at the table.
