Marlene's Wall Sconces

I have some friends with a glass studio. Last year, one of their clients came to them with a request for a pair of wall sconces. I was brought in to design and fabricate two rectangular fixtures to hold and light the glass they had selected. The light was to come from dimmable LED strips.

My suggestion was hammered copper boxes with Paperstone tracks to hold the glass. The copper was hammered first and then formed and soldered into it's final configuration. I custom ground a hammer to create deep, sharp, strikes. An oxidation agent was hand applied and rubbed out.

DIMENSIONS: 24" Wide x 10" High x 5" Deep
