The shadows were pending with the slipping sun as I painted
at the trailhead to Crater Lake at the base of the Maroon Bells.
The autumn aspens in the lap of the Maroon Bells outside of Aspen, Colorado were starting their slow shimmer as the day began to fade.
This set of 5 note cards are reproduced from my original oil.
They are smartly tied with a coordinating ribbon and sealed in a crystal clear bag.
These make great gifts for outdoorsy folks or those who enjoy Colorado's mountains.
