Mask I
This mask was fashioned after I did a study of the mask of Sargon the 1 who was the first ruler (that we know of) in the ancient world to codify law and have 1 common set of governance over a large region rather than individual magistrates. I though it marked a pivotal moment in history and began work on a mask to commemorate it.
It is a thick heavy piece that has some mass to it which gives it a presence. It hangs nicely on the wall.
