Meadow Dancers

I love this stained glass piece...it is full of joy and happiness as two women dance together in a spring meadow. It suggests to me a long friendship, good news and the warmth of sunshine after a long winter. The panel is 16 1/4 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Clear textured glass with corner bevels frames the scene. I used 10 different kinds of glass from several manufacturers for the main focal point; most of it is opalescent glass with a few cathedral glass highlights on the women's yellow and violet gowns. The sky was carefully cut from a single piece of glass so that the natural pattern of the glass was not interrupted, making for a nice continuous flow of colors. The piece is framed in zinc for lasting strength and I painted the zinc black to match the dark patina on the solder.

The price shown is for the piece pictured which is available for immediate shipment. It can be resized and recolored and a new price quoted.
