Medieval-Inspired Leather Game Table
This piece started as a wooden stool from The Goodwill but when I saw it, I immediately thought it would be a great game table to play chess, checkers, or backgammon. The leather motifs I used and its placement is what I think medieval game pieces may look like on a large scale. I used both new and recycled skins, both silky smooth and roughly textured, matte and metallic. The stool has been sanded and stained to make the perfect game table.
