Mermaid With Champagne Beaded Shoulder
This gown is a recent custom creation we made for one of our brides-- more photos from her recent wedding coming soon!
Gown is created in Ivory Silk Hemp with a Silk Tulle shoulder-piece and soft Organic Cotton Voile lining. Shoulder is hand-beaded with pearl appliques, handmade silk flowers, and a light smattering of swarovski crystals.
The bodice of her gown is structured and strapless, with a low sweetheart neckline in front and a dramatic V to the waistline in back. Under the bust, a center-peaked seam adds a sculptural detail, with tulle sewn into the seam that wraps over the bust into a sheer one-shoulder. Below this seam, tulle is ruched around the body to the natural waistline.
Princess seams contour down the body of the slim-fitting mermaid skirt. An asymmetrical seam cuts across at approximately knee level, and a layer of Silk Tulle drapes over the full mermaid shape.
Skirt shape is supported by inner netting (can be colored for a fun hidden splash of color). The train is approximately three feet in length, and will bustle up for the reception.
