Carmen is a mermaid who loves to swim through sea grass. I made this piece by cutting, filing, and hammering recycled metal. Different colors of outdoor acrylic metal paint were used to color the metal. The same piece of metal was used for her curly hair. The copper starfish adds a touch of shimmer to the sculpture.
