Mid Century Modern Ellis Media Console Table

After some searching, I couldn't find any nice mid-century modern industrial style media console tables. So I got an idea from an early 1900s vintage French piece and started a new design. The way the hand polished steel frame is built, it has moulding around the edges with large iron rivets keeping it all together. The lower cabinet can hold audio/video components and the cloverleaf screen door allows your remotes to work with the doors closed. And there is a hole in the back of the cabinet for wiring. The back frame is built to hold and hide wiring from the TV down to the AV components. The black lacquered solid wood top measures 48″ x 20″ and the piece is 32″ tall. Weight is around 170 lbs. The heavy 6″ cast iron wheels make it easy to move around. This would also make a nice console table, kitchen island, rolling bar or credenza, and is available in custom sizes, finishes, and with different options.

This table is made to order as I do not stock it. Lead time is 6-10 weeks. Email me for more exact timing or if you have any questions. I also have many more original designs so check out my other listings.

Most of the Industrial style furniture you find on the internet and in stores is made in Asia, mainly India and China. Often the quality is not so good. And the designs are often copies of somebody else's work (like mine). So if you are thinking of buying elsewhere, I suggest you ask the shop owner where the piece was made
