Mid-Century Modern Solid Walnut Three-Drawer Desk
There are actually two different desks in this set of photos. The second one has legs of increased thickness. I am currently working on a third (2/19), which also has the thicker legs. I thought this desk would be popular and I have now made three in less than a year. This desk is classic mid-century modern on my own custom designed leg base, which can be separated from the desk box. Made from hand-chosen solid black walnut, this is a very special desk. Super strong construction methods have been used and the quality of fit and finish is spotless.
The three drawers slide on ball bearing guides and the drawer fronts are pure mid-century and two layers of walnut.
The desk is finished in hand wet-sanded Danish Oil and Satin Wax for a great look and feel.
