Misty Mountain
For Misty Mountain, I wanted a little bit of a different style than the guitar I had previously done. The first one I made was so bold and full of color that I wanted something more calming. I feel that white and blue are both very calming colors so I decided to create a guitar completely composed of these colors. Pure white seemed too sterile and lifeless though. A creamy white seemed more fitting. The idea of Asian mountain tops with lazy drifting clouds came to me and I knew it was the right imagery for this guitar. Not too obvious though, just a hint of it, creating an almost marbled effect. In the end, I had a guitar that inspires smooth and rich sounds.
