This modern wood mirror is made from beetle kill pine, also called blue pine. The unique gray wood is from trees that have been salvage logged in Montana and it has a naturally occurring coloring of mixed grays due to a pine bark beetle infestation. The wood frame has been cross laminated using multiple strips of wood surrounding an end grain block core showing off the unique colors and patterns of the wood.
The hanging mirror measures 16 inches wide, 26 inches tall, and is 2 inches deep from the face of the frame to the wall it hangs on. The width of the frame surrounding the mirror is 1-1/8" and there's a clear water based finish on the wood. There's a wire on the back and 3/16" mirrored glass installed.
