Walnut wood is just simply a beautiful wood, even without stain. One of our favorites to work with too. The one pictured here is stained Special walnut which is the best color if you are looking for a natural look to the walnut. Stain samples available via snail mail upon request & once you place your order.

5 inches in height x 7 inches deep x various lengths

These walnut wood mantels we build to show the beauty of the wood without nails (or putty spots) on the exterior, mitered corners so that the grain of the wood wraps from the sides to the face seamlessly, it is hand sanded to a fine finish and then a stain is applied.
The final finish is non yellowing furniture grade finish.

It is constructed out of 3/4" solid American (black)walnut wood face and 3/4" black walnut veneer top & bottom. Glued and screwed from the back side and is hollow in the middle.

We provide a wood bracket, screws, and instructions to install it yourself on a drywall stud wall.
