This kitchen island was originally designed for a client in Austin, Texas who wanted a furniture quality kitchen island with large drawers and book shelves to hold her cookbooks. This kitchen island has a mahogany base and maple top. This hand crafted piece features beautifully crafted dovetail joints on the drawers. The drawers open in both directions. The panels include brass pins.
