Solid Rosewood & Geometric Steel Mid Century Modern Coffee Table
The first time I saw this rosewood at the lumber store, I fell in love! Just the raw wood was so beautiful, but VERY expensive (6x as expensive as walnut!) as it is quite rare and most commonly used as very thin veneer rather than a solid piece. My plans of doing a dining table were quickly extinguished...At my workshop we do "fun Fridays" where anything goes and the goal is to be creative and (hopefully) make something beautiful in the process. There are lots of #fails but this one was a definitely a #win.
