Modified Craftsman Walnut Bench With Live Edge
The seat consists of 1 solid walnut board showcasing live edge and the light and dark contrast of the walnut heartwood and sapwood. The base is in the craftsman style using mortise and tenon joinery.
The bench is crafted from a walnut tree harvested from a lot on Lake Norman that was turned into 2 logs. The walnut was air dried for 11 months then dried in my solar kiln for 3 months before working the table.
