Consists of 2 solid walnut boards joined with a maple spline and 3 maple inset dovetails showcasing the light and dark contrast of the walnut heartwood and sapwood.

This table is crafted from a walnut tree harvested from a lot on Lake Norman that was turned into 2 logs. The walnut was air dried for 11 months then dried in my solar kiln for 3 months before working the table.

The maple insets were crafted from locally harvested spalted maple and offer a great contrast to the dark walnut of the table.

Natural clear finish of marine grade urethane to be durable and long lasting.
