Moku Jumbie Door

This door was custom deisgned for a couple who find their peace adn tranquility saiing in the Caribbean. This piece is refresentative of the couple themselves and the joy they have have found in the magical islands of teh eastern Caribbean. THe couple is depicted as Moku Jumbie, the stilt dancers that can be seen dancing around fires or in festivals on many islands in the Caribbean.

Hand forged steel with a signature "tie die rust", a living patina and hammered and forged steel, shaped and finished with a selective brass plating process. All of the metal is 1/8'', it is sturdy and resilient.

All steel work is done red hot with traditional and modern blacksmithing techniques oftentimes used is non-traditional ways.
