Monogram Letters In Walnut
The family monogram letter hanging in a central location gives a sense of pride in ones name and heritage.
I needed to carve a letter for a friend and purchased graphic templates in the style seen here to create my first carved M. Since then I've made numerous others for family and friends. Carved with the CNC routers, I can keep prices affordable. I find walnut works best for me, but other hardwoods can be used as well. I added some gold powders to accent the highlights and give the pieces a rich quality. Pieces are approximately 7-8" wide and 10-12" tall. A hole in the back allows for easy hanging on a single nail.
