Monterey Cypress only grows in two areas near the coast of central California: Pebble Beach and Point Lobos. It is a rarity in that it is a glacial relic and as a result is extremely rare and doubly gorgeous. The cypress has a warm, amber tone to it and the bulk of this species is harvested as "cookies", or giant cross-sections cut carefully by sawyers. Our Monterey Cypress river tables are made to last as each piece measures over 2" thick, and with the rarity of its origin it makes for a great conversation starter!
