Hand-carved porcelain moon pendant necklace in white and blue.
I have always loved gazing at the night sky, especially on cold, crisp winter nights. The air is invigorating. The sky is so clear that you can see the craters on the moon and the milky way stretching far across the sky. This necklace has the beautiful white moon with the deep blue of the night sky and a bright silvery chain like all the bright, twinkling stars.
The porcelain pendant is detailed with a rich blue underglaze to highlight all the tiny details. A satin glaze gives this pendant a nice shine.
This beautiful necklace makes a great gift. It comes wrapped in a little gift box too!
A shiny silver colored bail and chain are attached. The chain is 24 inches long and closes with a lobster clasp. The pendant is 1.25 inches across.
The back is stamped with my own, hand-carved star stamp and is unglazed. All rough edges were smoothed away before firing in my kiln.
