The finished product was truly a work of art. Michelle was patient, courteous, easy to talk with, flexible, without drama, artistic and a true craftspeople. My wife and I could not be happier with the finished transom piece which was 5' long and 12" high.
The large piece of glass was carefully prepared for shipping and travelled across country without a scratch. Thank you Michelle.
This piece is composed of broken pieces of dish ware that the client had kept. As happens to many of us, special dishes had been dropped or chipped. The client asked that the Quimper Christmas piece be the focal. I used it to create the bow. The hearts in the bouquet are from different pieces of the clients collection of blue and white plates.
The mosaic was done in a wood tray providing a new use for broken dishes with sentimental value.
