Mother's Day Clock

I built this clock out of reclaimed Oak and dark walnut and the trim piece on top is a horseshoe trim no longer in production that I salvaged from a burn.
The movement I purchased at one of our local hobby shops.

I built this the night before mothers day for my mother. Since that time I have built 2 more for people that have seen hers.

After building the box for the clock I cut the top out of three pieces of 1" oak and the horseshoe trim I matched up on all four seams so it wouldn't look cut up. I ran the three pieces of oak through my router and puth the edge on to apear as if the top is made from a single piece of oak. I no longer have the trim pieces but can use something else to fill in there, The dark walnut top I also ran through my router and just rounded it over. The price varies depending on size. pictured is approximatley 12 " tall x6"x6". the pedistal is app. 7"x7"x1". I will build this particular clock up to 36" unless you want a bigger base.
