Mountain Scene Relief Sculpture

This piece was commissioned for a private residence. In Northern Utah there is a mountain that is celebrated for its legend. The silhouette looks like a woman lying and the native legend tells of a princess buried deep, and the winds eventually blew the sands to make the mountain upon her burial. It is called Mount Timpanogos.

This piece is that mountain, with a foreground of aspen, pine, and some wildlife. It is all metals and natural metal colors (except the aspen bark which is painted) The frame is sculpted steel after pine bark.

it is 80 inches wide by 45 inches tall.
