Mug With Vintage Parks Posters

This tan and plum red pottery mug boasts images of depression era WPA parks posters. It is one of a series of mugs featuring decals that were created from posters commissioned by the Ohio WPA in the 1930's.

The glaze is a dark tan on the outside with a dark plum red on the inside. One poster has a buckeye leaf and says "Spare or trees". The other image shows two children with flowers and states "Enjoy Don't Destroy".

Food, dishwasher and microwave safe, the stoneware mug measures about 4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter.
