Mug With Wood Ash Nuka Glaze And Iron Rust Drips, (Sku 40)

This is a handmade mug made from Stoneware clay on the pottery wheel. It was dipped in a wood ash glaze called a Nuka glaze, and then brushed with Iron stain to give an earthen, rustic color. The rust dripped down the glazed pot during the firing, creating red and yellow colors in the cream colored base glaze. The mug is 100% functional, dishwasher safe and microwaveable. It measures about 5.5" tall by 6" wide. This mug is a must for coffee lovers who hate having to refill there mug every two sips.
