Museum World War 2 Rifle Display Cabinet

I felt very privileged and honored to be asked to design and build this display case. It was built for Walker Aviation Museum in Roswell, NM to display a donation of WWII rifles and bayonets.

The case is constructed of red oak with dovetails at each corner providing exceptional strength and stability. I designed the rifle and bayonet rests and fabricated them out of red oak, the case is lined with white felt to better show off the rifles. There are three lights in the top.

There is one door with safety glass and two locks, one on each side to make for a very secure case.

All moldings were made in my shop.

The picture of the knob is of an American Eagle, which I thought was quite fitting for the case.

Rifles are NOT included.
