This piece was made to be hung on the wall in a patient room inside a hospital. It is nature inspired, and colorful. It is contemporary and measures 20" X 16".

It was constructed with two panes of glass. The front pane is clear glass, with the cherry blossoms sandblasted into the back of the sheet. The blossoms were then painted, and finally this piece of glass was mounted to the bright green piece of stained glass, with lexan washers in between. Since the coloring is on the inside of the piece, one runs no risk when cleaning the surface of the piece. It should also collect very little dust, making this technique great for environments that must be kept clean.

This piece was designed to have light directed onto its surface, not to have light passing through it.
