Another piece from my private collection that was originally commissioned for an aquarium but never paid for because of a change in management. This piece was the most labor intensive work I ever undertook and required over 9 months to complete. The sculpting of the aircraft foam was an exercise I don't wish to do again so this is a one-time opportunity to own a very dramatic piece of 3D art.
It could be realistically be considered a "wall sculpture".
It is made from aircraft foam, liquid vinyl, gypsum filler (in very small amounts), a wood base, and automotive paint with a 98% UV protective clear coat.
It measures 36" Wide by 27" high by 5" deep if hung side by side.
It was designed to be hung in either a horizontal or vertical orientation.
Weight is approx. 40 lbs. for both pieces.
