Harold Cox didn't care about trendy reclaimed furniture and neither will you once you lay your eyes on this table. What Harold did care about was the high quality timber he spent his life cutting out of the north Maine woods. There you will find the source of the magnificent lumber that makes up the most unique aspects of this table top. Supporting the wood, and juxtaposing the natural curves of the red oak, is 2" steel, welded to be as rugged as Harold. As local legend has it, he once landed an oak like this directly onto his head, splitting his hard hat in two. He still went to work the next day.
The original of this piece was made for his daughter and her family here in Maine, and the design is now available as a custom order for you. Since it's a live edge piece, each one made will have unique, distinctive contours, but will be made of the same top-grade Maine sawn lumber.

I really enjoyed working with Keven! Probably not too often a customer ships his own wood for table tops, but that's what we did. He matched the powdercoat sample I sent as well!
Would recommend Keven to anyone wanting a custom, quality product!
