Notre Dame Podium

We designed and built the first of these for The Governor's Reception Room in the Arkansas Capitol. The second went into Geddes Hall at Notre Dame University.

If you Google Geddes Hall, Notre Dame, you will have a complete description of the effort make to make the construction, furnishing, and operation of the building as "Green" as possible. It was a massive and comprehensive effort that has won several awards.

Our podium was selected on the basis of style and our commitment to sustainability. It was constructed of lumber sawn on our farm, and kiln dried on site.
The brass stops lock it in place when in use. We put ball bearing casters on the bottom of the feet to make it easily moved. We also used a clever adaptation of the "Drop Arm" from the old style "Morris" Chairs.

I WEAR A SIZE 15 BOOT.....BUT, MY CARBON FOOTPRINT IS VERY,VERY TINY.

Dimensions: 48" X 20" X 24"
