Nuka Vase With Iron Rust Drips, (Sku 70)

I threw this pot on the pottery kickwheel using Stoneware clay. This vase was dipped in a wood ash glaze called a Nuka glaze and then fired to about 2300 degrees F. in a natural gas kiln. I brushed iron on the rim of the pot before the firing, which drips down to create rust colors. It is 100% functional, dishwasher safe and microwaveable. Height 7", width 5.5".
