Oak And Heart Pine Wood Wine Table Made From Repurposed And Reclaimed 1894 Wood
The wood used to manufacture this table has been recycled from an old school desk and a home that was built in 1894 from a rural town in Georgia.
It has a hand-dovetailed heart pine drawer (about 4 in tall x 11 in wide x 14 in deep), solid wild cherry wood bottom and a carved heart pine handle, while the legs and body have been carefully mortised and tenoned for strength and durability. Go ahead and use this one. It is made in the tradition of the furniture that you find in the antique stores that are still usable today. This will work and delight you for many years also.
Made from solid heart pine from the walls of deconstructing an historic house in Georgia and solid oak from an old school desk with a bit of black walnut placed for accent on the top and drawer. Finished with several coats of satin polyurethane. Size is approximately 34 in tall x 20 in deep x 35 in wide. There is about 16 in of shelf clearance and the wine rack will hold 12 wine bottles nicely.
